Judges keep on saying that Gani is the Modern Asian Look. I do disagree though because when you say Asian Look, it is not chinky eyes. Having the Chinky Eyes is not Asian. Not all Asian have a CHINKY Eyes.

I love Gani's facial Bone Structure and fierce look.

Gani nailed 3 Best Photos and Monika Nailed 4 with a Back to Back wins. Gani never won a challenge herself  but Monika won 2 challenges.

The whole duration I believe that Monika worked the most. She deserves to win.

I don't know if Gani was the right pick for the competition winner but Congratulation to her anyways. She is the fierce model though.

The Lost Memory

by: Charlton Kis-ing

PHOTO is a property of BEST SAD PICTURE.

One Saturday night, Reynaldo is staring at the window, wishing watching the rain drops and splatters in the street. He is watching the rain drops onto the leaves as it drops to the ground. He hears thunders and watch the lightning strikes the sky. The lightning adorn and lights the gloomy look of the sky.

He is watching these little kids play under the rain, laughing and simply enjoying the natures gift. He is watching them as they get wet. Their wet clothes kisses their fragile body and shrinks exploits all their curves as they continue to play and merrily laughing and joking at one another.

As he is watching them, he closed his eyes and drawn dozed into the realms of all good things happening. Everything is sparkling when the sun kisses on anything. The glow of the sunlight is a joy to his sighting gives strength to his weakening heart.

Butterflies fly around him as he walks around the meadow adorn with flowers blooming rampantly decorating the vast grassy land. The bees buzz and the birds chirps harmoniously orchestrated. The wind blew so gently that the leaves of the trees in the mountain creates a harmonious sound that adorns the animals sound. It is an orchestra of nature, Rey thinks.

He walks further and found the waterfalls in his dreams every night. He imagines that waterfalls that he is like the other kids so healthy swimming without hesitation and worry that he might get tired and get drawn. This is his time to swim that he always wanted. He dived and landed into the water gracefully like a professional diver. He felt the joy of the water, he felt how his body get so relaxed when he is swimming. He is all alone. He was laughing and screaming at the top of his voice. Everything is magical. Everything is real.

Suddenly, a fish appeared into his sight. The fish looks so familiar. Rey feels an excitement seeing that fishes swimming with him. Then he remembered it was his childhood pet, which he calls bestie He kissed his pet and played with him all day.

The sun shines directly above him so he bid farewell to his pet and walked further into the woods. to take cover from the heat from the sun. The trees stand firm as he passes by letting him feel secured. The apples and oranges are simply too low so he could reach at them whenever he is hungry.

He walked and walked and walked like he owns all these. He is happy. He is alone in the woods and into the meadows where he lie down and watch the sky so blue, so clear adorn with clouds that shelters him from the sun.

As he is lying down and enjoying his time. He remembered his childhood. His childhood adorned with his yearly trophies of exaggerated battles of life, of mockery and of disbelief. It was a time where no one would ever believe him.

In those years of sorrow childhood, there is only one person who cared and stood by him. His best friend. His confidante and his comforter. However, fate has a way to definitely have its own way to play. His best friend has finally needs to go away.

He felt a relief. The memories of his best friend came back and he smiled widely remembering how his best friend barge into their house and drag Reynaldo out of the house to play. In his mind, the memory of his friends flashes like a movie. They played hide and seek, they laugh together cried together. Played soil and wet by their own urine to create a pot or plate.

Suddenly, he hears someone calling him. He woke up and tried listening to that familiar voice and what the voice is trying to say.

"Rey, wake up," said the voice.

Rey remembered that voice. The voice that was once lost for so many years. His best friend whom he hadn't seen for years.

"I am just imagining", Rey told himself.

"Rey wake up!", again the voice repeated.

It was then, when he slowly opened his eyes.

"Aha!, you opened your eyes at last! You've been asleep for days now!", his best friend told him.

"Finally, after 20 years we've finally meet!", Rey said. "I hope it will not be good bye though!", he continued.

"Of course not! In fact, tomorrow me and my wife and my son will come back. So take a rest dude! I am sure my son would love to see you. I told him that I once had a playmate growing up who is very brave!", his best friend continued.

"Ok! I will see you then!," then Rey slowly closed his eyes!

Quote for the Week: Hope

This will be my quote for the week. It is about HOPE. It will forever be a reminder for me that God sometimes doesn't answer prayers. I believe he does at the right time and the right moment.

Phone Photography - Samsung Note 2

I love taking pictures. I felt in love with photography the moment I started working on my project way back college days. At some point, luckily we have a school camera that we can use during those time. So I am able to fulfill my eagerness to take photo during those times.

However, after graduation my love of photography using big camera's was turned into a disaster phone photography. Just recently, I discovered that I can still have my passion and the love of my life using my phone.

Well using your phone somehow is really limited so the number one thing you need to check is actually the setting of your phone.

Here are my Samples for what I have taken my Samsung Note 2

Against the LIGHT: SUNRISE PHOTOGRAPHY

NO FLASH

With FLASH
MID-DAY PHOTOGRAPHY - For outdoor photography where you have enough sun and light I basically did not use a flash (hehehe of course)

Without Flash

For my INDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY - I definitely used a flash and usually when it is indoor I use the flash function as I needed a lot of light.

With Flash

CLOSE UP PHOTO - I took the picture at around 6:00 AM though it is outdoor I still use Flash because the SUN LIGHT is not that strong enough to give me all the light that I need.

Foot Prints in the Sand

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."

The poem that inspire me every time I am down.
