Elegant Sparkly Clear Crystal Rosary

For church goers of Catholic, Rosary is a must. Being in a Catholic country, I have a lot of friends who goes to Catholic Church and definitely knows more about the rosary. Though I am not a Catholic church goer, I still decided to create an Accessory that is vital to their Catholic Faith.

Having said that I have created several kinds of Rosary. A rosary that is definitely fashionable and very elegant as I always believe that apart from having a firm belief it is also good to have everything that goes along with it as fashionable as possible.

Here's the first from the many Rosary I have created.

Layered White Stone Chipped and Crystal Necklace

White is so elegant and classy and it goes with any color too. So a person who wears such necklace wouldn't worry that much on what color of dress to wear. I also made this thinking of a fashionista office girl. After making the said layered necklace, wow! It matches any type of occasion from Casual Wear to formal Wear.

Leather and Chain Necklace and Bracelet

Over the week, I had been thinking of ways on how to make a matching necklace and bracelet. This time I am happy I am able to make a leather and Chain combination to create a rustic bracelet and necklace.

It is also a unisex chain necklace and bracelets as it looks good both on male and female.

Travel to the Enchanting Sagada

Sagada, my mothers hometown is always and will always be my number 1 tourist destination when I prefer adventure and nature. It will always be my number 1 not only because my roots are there but also because of the majestic views of nature. A place where I could be with nature, from its luscious green mountains to the crystal clear water of its caves.

There are 2 ways to go to Sagada. Its either you take the Manila to Bontoc then from Bontoc, you can take jeepney to Sagada. However, my usual itinerary is from Manila to Baguio route. I usually take this  route to visit Baguio first before heading further to Sagada.

Pasay to Baguio will cost you approximately Php 445 to Php 700 depending on the kind of bus you take either the DELUXE or the ordinary airconditioned bus. Then from Baguio go to Dangwa Station and take a bus going to Sagada which will cost you approximately around Php 220.

One of my favorite activity when in Sagada is Spelunking. Spelunking in general used when someone enters the cave following a trail while Caving is generally used for caving experts, creating a trail, probably measurements, looking for fossils and definitely studying the cave. This is a must try to all visitors to Sagada. I always say, you never went to Sagada if you haven't tried Spelunking. Feel the excitement, the energy rush, swimming inside the cold crystal clear water of Sumaging Cave.

The best so far is to have a very knowledgeable guide walking you through the cave, guiding you and assisting all throughout and on the side is of course discussing you the cave, history, and culture of the locals.

Let me be your guide to the Majestic Sagada!

Spelunking at its Finest

The very first thing to do before any other activity is registering and getting a TOUR GUIDE. I highly recommend SaGGAS as I can vouch for their credibility and their knowledge in handling Tourist. SaGGAS office is located just below the Sagada Municipal Hall.

Our team enters the Sagada Cave ready for the adventure!

The Burial Site is either your first stop before you go inside the cave or the last one. I suggest make this your entrance when you visit the cave.
Gareth Likigan our favorite Tour Guide at SaGGAS is explaining largely on the culture and the Do'S and Dont'S while inside the cave.
When inside the famous Sumaging Cave...

1. Rock Formation

2. Extreme Activities at its Finest

Hanging Coffin

The place is called the Hanging Coffins because the coffins are found at the sides of these cliffs. It only  means that people in the olden times already have the concept of burial. They mummify them and place them in a carved wood trunks and then passed along until it gets to its unique resting place.

Marlboro Mountain

Another great view is a wonderful plains of Marlboro Mountain. This is a perfect place for camping. Perfect place to getaway from noise pollution in the city. It offers a place to relax and unwind. Simply by being with nature. Is it not perfect to wake up and see this beautiful sea of cloud scattered along the mountain side with a kiss from the sun!

and what about a blue soil? Sagada has it too... (due to copper)

AYOKO NAAA!!! Sunrise Peak at Kiltepan

Ayoko Na!!! is the most popular chant if I may say so... would be the most shouted chant along the Kiltepan Sunrise View. I am sure it was from the Movie That Thing Called Tadhana as seen Angelica Panganiban shouting it in the moview.

Jeepney Ride on a TopLOAD

Jeepney ride of course is a basic transportation in the Philippines but doing it on a topload or on top of the car is definitely worth a try.

Lemon Pie

Another place is the SAGADA LEMON PIE. It is the most visited Cafe and Resto in Sagada. Known for their Luscious savoring lemon pie.

Suze Orman and Reason why I like her

Financial Literacy has not been my focus since I started working. However, few years ago, I happen to stumble upon the Suze Orman Show. At first, I simply just watch because I don't have something to watch early in the morning.

After that, I am falling in love with the whole concept of the show. The topics may be in the US and living condition may be in the US and I am in the Philippines but I am learning a lot because MONEY is a UNIVERSAL Entity.

My most favorite is the Can I Afford It and Approve or Deny. I have learned a lot from this. Though Philippines doesnt have the 401K or ROTH ROI or any other stuff the US has. It did made me realize that SAVINGS and preparing for my retirement, investment, health, emergency fund is definitely a need. I already new all these stuff and I thought of doing it when I reached the age of 40. Which is incredible incorrect and I am setting up myself in a RETIREMENT DISASTER.

The Suzy Orman Show, has made me all these realized. Emergency Fund for example. I thought that 3 months worth of expenses is already good for an Emergency Fund. However, Suzy is contradicting it and making it 8 months. Which if you are going to annalyze the current situation, she is making sense and YES it is better to have an 8 month secured while you are looking for a job or you got sick and need sometime to recover.

I think 3 mos of Emergency Fund is OK but why stick to 3 months when you can actually have 8 months to secure yourself.

Next key learning for me is the importance of having an investment. Before, when people say investment, I would immediately think it is house, car, jewelry, etc. I never thought about stocks, mutual funds, or any other long term money market fund. It is in the show that I heard Mutual Fund First that made me realize I need to have one too and make it long term...

The influence of the show to me is to step back whenever I am about to buy something and think if I can afford it. Well, I should have watched the show earlier then I may not be regretting now. At least, right now I am working really hard to get myself out of debt and start building my net worth. It will take time I guess. There'd be a lot of trial and error but I think that's what life has got to offer at least I am learning on something and making adjustments on my lifestyle and wishing that someday i'll get APPROVED. For now, I am ok with DENIED!!!! and start building my future's savings.

Exquisite Chain Leather and Chipped Stone Neclace

Previously I made a choker made of chain. This time, I made a little bit longer to be a necklace. I used chipped stones, crystal and pearls join them together and it did match everything.

Chain Leather and Crystal Choker

I got fascinated with chains as I am fascinated with crystals and leathers. So I  tried joining them together by weaving the chains together using a leather strips. It is painstakingly doing it but the end result is just as beautiful as it is.

I added the sparkling crystals and design them to standout but not overpowering the sparkles of the necklace.

This is out there waiting for the rightful owner though. I am excited as to who would be the new owner of this.

White Chipped Stone Necklace

Simple color but elegant when in use. That's how I see white necklaces. White is a friendly color as it matches all kind of color so when you but this kind of necklaces I am sure you would never go wrong.

One good think about this necklace is the idea that it has a smaller stones to make sure it will not over power the pendant and also the dress itself. You can go out and do shopping with a style or you go to church with such necklace.

My new love necklace. The glassy look and feel of the crystals and stones are definitely awesome. What I like most is definitely the idea of an accessory that is somehow wearable. Something that it is easy to manage for people on the go.

White Crystal Necklace

Simplicity at its finest. That's how I see it. The necklace itself is white crytstal adorn with such a beautiful pendant. The bracelet compliments it really well. Crystals is just one of my favorite medium in creating accessories as it gives the elegant that I want. Elegant but it is still simply. With the color definitely it is wearable. Something that compliments the dress you wear.
