ALDUB HASHTAG BREAKS RECORD

#ALDubEBforLOVE is the official hashtag for EAT BULAGA's KALYESERYE segment. The hashtag was released midnight of September 26, 2015 and that very hour ALDUB NATION (refers to ALDUB Fans) tweeted thier excitement and in less than an hour the count skyrocketed to a million. Then it grows sporadically as time flies until 11:59pm where it reached a 25.6 Million tweets.

ALDUB NATION got so excited and surpass their own record on ALDEN AND YAYA DUB first date.

The key take away of the episode are:

1. REVIVE THE OLD FILIPINO VALUES in courting. Lola Nidora's condition to Alden are Filipino values in terms of courting a girl. The conditions are: no touch, gift to lola, and one feet apart. Even the Catholic Bishop of the Philippines lauded Kalyeserye because of the values it teaches to their audience.

2. RESPECT was also taught in this episode. Alden taking off his shoes, Alden not sitting when not offered, Alden bows to the elderly are all signs of being respectful and being a real man. You'd never gain trust to anyone when you are disrespectful.

The kilig factor of the serye is the cream of the crop.

By far, ALDUB NATION is not only making history by having the number of tweets and most viewed episode in Philippine television but also making significant impact in Philippine society. ALDUB PHENOMENOM has a greater influence in mainstream media and social media alike. This is by far the most organized social media campaign. I am sure businesses and social media experts are looking into each success of both the loveteam and their fan based.

Why ALDUB is successful?

1. Cooperation. It is the key differentiator to its competition. The fans are well organized in supporting each campaign on a daily basis. They cooperate with the trendsetters to ensure the correct campaign is implemented. As with the show, supporters also embody the true meaning of a Filipino culture, BAYANIHAN.

2. Values. The show in itself contains Filipino values that even parents and all viewers would rather choose to watch. Even the Catholic Bishop of the Philippines would tweet and appluade adding to the social and public awareness of what the show is all about.

3. The actors simply executes true emotion as there was no lengthy scripts only instructions from the directors and creative team of the show. This will draw more curiosity to its veiwer. Its does look like a reality show of true feelings.
